I've created this handmade ceramic dragonfly bead by carving the design in to the clay before the first firing.  It's then been outlined in black, the details hand painted with bright glazes before a clear gloss glaze had been added and the piece fired for a second time.
Dangling from the focal are several lengths of figaro chain and above it is a beautiful artisan lampwork (glass) bead with multicoloured frit decoration.  Topped with one of my coloured porcelain mini beads.  
The overall length of this pendant piece is 9.4cm and the focal bead is 25mm by 20mm by 10mm.  Set on a generous 70cm fine stainless steel ball chain.
